I don't see that anyone has claimed either Asteria or Spanish culture, so I'm going with that.
Travis -- I see a port on the west coast of Asteria as the place through which raw materials from Beta, Phoebe, and points east flow to Ulfrun, and manufactured goods from New Berlin go the other way. So it's a kind of a crossroad, like Istanbul used to be. Does that work?
